A stunning large studio pottery centrepiece bowl. Gorgeous muted colours and an abstract design. I was reminded of the backdrop in Frances famous Lascaux caves, those muted colours & shapes behind the figures or perhaps simply back in the day many moons ago when we all recognized, the emotions of a simple finger stroke down an old cave wall would yield big results. A beautiful piece. Ancient form. Contemporary hand.
The base is signed with an initial or combination of two initials but I haven't been able to determine the artist. Measures 16" w x 5" h.
